Victor Aziz

Detective Inspector Victor Aziz is a detective in the London police force and a recurring character throughout the first season, second season and third season, of Pennyworth. He works closely to stop Alfred, Bazza and Daveboy from working with the No Name League. He did join the English League and has since worked his way up to Prime Minister.

Work for the Queen[]

Inspector Aziz is loyal to the Crown and thinks highly of his duties as an inspector during the first half of season one. In Martha Kane (Episode) he warns Alfred to stop working for the No Name League after he begins working with Martha Kane, citing that he will be working against his country and the Queen. Alfred heard the warning and stops working with Martha for a while, but is persuaded to return to work with her not long after.

After Esme's show in The Landlord's Daughter, Pennyworth is approached by inspector Aziz, who asks if Lord Harwood named any co-conspirators. Pennyworth questions the Aziz over Bet Sykes, inspector Aziz reveals that she doesn't officially exist, and will be hanging the following week.

Alfred's threats[]

When Esme Winikus is murdered in Lady Penelope, Aziz covers up the murder and closes the case file despite the police not having a suspect in custody. Alfred Pennyworth is initially unaware of this, but is made aware by John Ripper, who reveals the killer and the police's involvement in covering it up. When Alfred finds out, he confronts Aziz, demanding that he reveal Curzon's location or he will cause trouble.

Aziz reveals that Alfred is digging to Curzon's father Lord Smytth, prompting the man to bribe Aziz and the Prime Minister into murdering Alfred in an attempt to cover up the situation. Aziz arranges a meeting under the guise of allowing Alfred to exact his revenge, but it turns out to be a set-up to have Alfred killed. Despite his deal with Curzon's father, Aziz tells Alfred that he will let him leave the country rather than kill him, but Alfred declines and — with Bet Sykes' help, kills Curzon and escapes. Alfred is later arrested for the killing and sentenced to seven years in prison.

Problems with the Raven Society[]

When the Raven Society begins causing trouble for the government, the Aziz offers Alfred a deal to get him out of prison. Aziz tells Alfred that he will have all charges dropped if he kills Lord Harwood and makes it look like the No Name League is responsible. Alfred agrees, but eventually deviates from the plan when he realizes that Martha Kane and Thomas Wayne are the two No Name agents that he would have to kill. Instead, Alfred helps them escape.

In London[]

The English League has formed. Being made up of those in her majesty's government and what is left from the No Name League. Working together now because the Raven are now the Raven Union and still a danger to England.

The former Inspector Aziz now made it onto the English League High Council. Working with the Queen and Prime Minister Archbishop Potter but not agreeing. Being more London focused and wanting to boost the city's defense. Telling the Queen that Manchester and Liverpool are doomed. He and current Prime Minister argue at the table. Cornwall man spoke, being a proud Cornwall man and points out the talks were London centric.

Working closely with Martha Kane, Martha said she knew he would tell her she is being neurotic in The Heavy Crown. Listening to her talk about her feeling. Aziz reminded her, she got them vital info. Then indeed told Martha that she is being neurotic. At a table waiting to talk to Alfred in his club The Delaney till going up to his office, for an extraction job. Willing to pay the amount for Colonel Salt Aziz didn't haggle. Aziz shows Alfred the photo of the chap. Martha tells where, he has a mistress, shows up at random times, at least once a week. The 2 leave the office.

Alfred seems glad to hand Salt over to Aziz, but Salt is snatched right back not long after and quickly resumes work for the Raven Union. Aziz is quickly on Alfred’s back in the morning, complaining about this since it implies a leak that potentially came from Alfred himself, though Alfred vehemently denies it.

Only by The Burning Bridge Aziz went to find Martha at the front, though he normally avoids being there. To tell her that Salt was grabbed away after being handed over by Alfred, Alfred might be the one behind that Salt getting away. Thomas Wayne is back and still with the same company. Martha's angry that they are spying on her, Aziz explains that no, they spy on Thomas Wayne.

Becoming Prime Minister[]

Victor Aziz and John Ripper both in The Hunted Fox worked to be elected as the next Prime Minister. Aziz sat silent as Cornwall man spoke. Aziz sat silently at the violent show which Ripper staged for the League. Aziz stood up and gave a moving speech about the right way to handle thing. Being better. Proving brute force does not win. Or else they would all be speaking German now. Listing virtue, each were virtue because of that. On acted what he would do. He would fight. Strengthen up London's defenses.

The Bleeding Heart bring a chance for the new prime minister to have a sit down with Dr Frances Gaunt, former Prime Minister Archbishop Potter was too much of a zealot. Aziz thanks Martha for setting this up, that she is a treasure. Frances agrees that ever since meeting Martha she was special. Meeting inside of LA DELICE DU DIABLE Aziz stated this was one of his favorite restaurants, the 2 sat down. Having to bring up that he and Lord Harwood had history, wanting to know if she speaks for the Ravens. Both agree they are reasonable people. Dr Gaunt said they can talk of a cease fire and negotiated surrender, on honorable terms. Dr Gaunt asks what terms would be? Aziz told her he has not consider the notion. She states, he does not know the seriousness of the situation, if they knew they'd be begging. They have shown great restraint. Not even used their weapon. Aziz answers, knowing about Project Stormcloud. Trying to test if she knew about the weapon. She said, if he knew, he would be happy to surrender. God help you if Project Stormcloud is ever deploy, god help all of us. Aziz concludes by telling her, while the league holds London, they are her Majesty's rightful government. He is the rightful, prime minister. We are England.

Aziz sits down in The Rose and Thorn with Thomas Wayne about doing the job of getting a scientist out. Having it look like an English League kidnapping. Agreeing Pennyworth would be good for the job. He also puts Martha on the task. Tell her it is good to do a favor for a powerful man. He also notices Martha's health and asks her about her throwing up.

Aziz uses the meeting with Wayne to send a message to Crowley. Trick Crowley and Ripper to be against each other. With only a Fly and a small paper, Aziz's plan comes together. Aziz killed a fly and the took a piece of tape. He draws a circle and a 5-point star, and seals it in an envelope. Calling in Evens to put the letter in the mail.

Troops stormed into Alfred's club he was standing there looked shocked. The queen arrived there with Victor Aziz. The sit down was not personal, instead is about English League needing him for a job. The Queen offers money, Alfred had enough money now. He was shocked that everyone knew about his plans of leaving for America when Aziz brought it up. Aziz offers then to pay him in silence about another man's wife whom it is rumor of him be with. As the queen mention how Alfred lies Aziz stated that it might not be, but a rumor spreading can be equally as dangerous. More so with some husband. Aziz having made his point.

The Bloody Mary brings the moment Alfred Pennyworth, Thomas Wayne, and Lucius Fox had not gotten on and plane, chose to join the fight. Now willing and feeling free to give Aziz all the details on Project Stormcloud.

By The Hangman's Noose Prime minister Aziz and Alfred Pennyworth stood out in the open of a foggy field. Checking for an ambush, there was no spot for a sniper. Waiting for a meeting with Raven Union. Aziz thanks Alfred for staying, Aziz admits he would flee if he could, and asks Alfred "Why?" Alfred answers "Stupidity. God knows I try to leave." Aziz questions if it might of been Honor, Loyalty, Hatred of tyranny. Alfred said, "Maybe I just like a fight." Ravens pull up in 2 cars. Salt and General Nelson Thursday stood before them. Thursday reminds them, Lord Harwood led the Raven Union, it was the army that beat them in battle. Army plays no part in politics.

The Queen with those of the English League were glad to toast, no more Lord Harwood and London might still win out. Thomas voices his feeling that Salt could not be better, Martha agrees with him. Moving talks to inside Aziz's office. Thomas, Martha, and Lucius and Alfred. Aziz asked him what he thought from the meeting. Wondering if they could trust them, Alfred states I trust no one.

After Salt televises the funeral for Lord Harwood in London, the 2 sides have a sit-down, negotiations don't exactly go as planned. While Prime Minister Aziz, the Queen and the rest of the League anticipate a fair discussion, the Union's power-mad new leader, John Salt gives the League an ultimatum: he wants their full and unconditional surrender.

Trying to buy the city some time. It seems like everyone was going to die. It came down to the last moment.

6 months later, London gets attacked by the New Raven Alliance.

As Prime Minister in Peace[]

It has been 5 years. By the start of Well To Do, Aziz is the Prime Minister of a stable government. Having Martha now working MI5 and working under him. Even though he does wonder about her having to leave work due to the time. The 2 of them were looking at a dead body IDed as a CIA man, and yet no one from his government had contacted anyone.

By Many Clouds Prime Minister Aziz questions Alfred, like in his old inspector days. Having the real nanny of Jessica Thistle in for questioning. Alfred confirmed to him, the woman he met was not Miss Hamperton.

In Comply Or Die Dr. Glubb approached Martha in the park. Dr Glubb wished to sell his talents to Prime Minister Aziz for the right price.

Martha mentions to Thomas she will be briefing Aziz on all Wayne Enterprises problem. When he is back from Paris. Aziz was across the channel.

Alfred goes to his office, in Silver Birch. Mr Chadley told Alfred that his mom keeps calling. There has been trouble at the Wayne home and to call. Going first to talk to Aziz, asking after Martha who was in the hospital. Alfred next talks about the connection past murders. Aziz tells him to stay out of it. Not wanting to upset the American, ahead of the global summit.

In Rhyme 'N' Reason, Prime Minister Aziz hires Alfred to act as security for Zahra Khin, who is in London for the summit but is not backed officially by the British government. Coming to speech with President May of the Kalpoor government, in hope a truce can be arranged. Alfred 1st makes sure, the job is not to kill this woman. Then states, protecting diplomats is extra. Miss Khin and Mr. Win at first dismiss the plan? Not trusting the suggestion of more security. Thinking anyone would be a spy for Aziz. After thwarting an assassination attempt on her life, as an assassin dressed as a crossing guard stopped the car. Miss Khin was safely pulled from her car, but her driver was not so lucky. They needed a place to hide. Alfred takes her to The Queen Anne's Revenge. Going upstairs Miss Khin to the Pennyworth Security office and asks Alfred and Mr Chadley for space so she can use the phone. Mr. Chadley mentions to Mr. Pennyworth, the prime minister office has been calling every 10 minutes. Yes, prime minister Aziz knows of the attempt on her life. Also that she is trouble.

At Parliament later in Hedgehunter, Miss Khin held a press conference. Mean while, outside the room. Alfred Pennyworth confronted Aziz. At first thinking Aziz was playing stupid. Aziz explains, he truely is not aware of the facts. Alfred tells his about what happen 10 years ago. Aziz questions, he could imply that her majesty's government is secretly illegally holding a foreign national? Having no proof, him and Daveboy were there, handed her father to MI6 and that is why Alfred will quit, and not be part of what ever game Aziz is playing. Aziz explains he really does not know. Then suddenly Miss Khin came out.

In Don't Push It Martha gets a phone call. Someone taking through something to alter their voice. At parliament, Martha waiting in the Prime minister's office to make Aziz meet with her. He is pressed for time. She confronts him about Salt being dead, why he didn't tell her, the Raven labs, enhanced solders, Level 7 also. Then Aziz insists on knowing how she knows this. Martha states, she is head of MI5's science department, and should have been briefed on this immediately. Admitting to the anonymous call and the file left for her. Aziz wants to find out who leak the file.

In Red Marauder The lights had been flickering all day, Troy is called to duty. Alfred and Daveboy are asked to be brought in. In a room with Thursday and Aziz, Alfred and Dave Boy are told to go with him.

Alarms by Thursday's actions in Rag Trade Prime Minister Aziz summons General Thursday, who is also head of Level 7 to his office. Being summoned is something Thursday mocks to his men. Does travel there, once in the Aziz's office. The 2 debates the rights and wrongs of Level 7 and how Parliament gave Thursday the authority to act. Aziz points out, as long as it is not on their own people.

London is Drugged[]

In Highland Wedding Aziz responds to Martha, he can not help. He can not let her go help Dr. Fox, even if the May Day call was real. Aziz tells Martha over the phone, if someone acts with out his knowing, it could be. That gives Martha and Alfred the gray area they need. So they can go down there, with her Level -6 clearance.

Unfortunately, Aziz's secretary put milk in his drink. Later that day, Aziz starts slipping away. Seeing a Medieval period, with those in his office dressed in armor. At first not even remember how to work a telephone. His secretary was helping him. She asked him what they should do about the madness all over London. Also at first hands him the red phone.

Answering the phone with Thursday on the other end of the line. Aziz does not understand anything Thursday accuses him of. With each response, General Thursday gets deeper into some crazy idea he thought was true. Since Thursday and his men were trapped in Level 7 and knew nothing about what was happening above.

Being positive that Aziz was going to over throw the government and crown him self king. Thursday orders a missile strike on Parliament and The Prime Minister's office. Sitting in his office, Aziz hears warning sirens.

Those outside the city can see an explosion. It is unclear if Aziz is had protection against an attack. If he is alive or dead?
